Who we are
CelpipTestAI.com (“we”, “us”) is an independent CELPIP® practice website run by PTE STUDY PTY LTD, Australia. This page explains what we collect when you use the site, why, who helps us process it, and how to delete it. Contact: support@celpiptestai.com.
What we collect
- Your email address, when you request a sign-in code. We send a short-lived code, store a protected verifier for up to 15 minutes, and limit requests per mailbox and network to prevent abuse.
- Your Google account name, email address and profile photo link, when you choose “Continue with Google”. The photo is shown only to you, in the account menu at the top of the page, and is loaded from Google. Google tells us they belong to you; we never see your Google password. Your account is tied to your Google account (Google's account ID, kept as a one-way code), so it stays yours even if the email address on that Google account changes.
- Your practice records: the answers you write, the transcript of what you said in a speaking task, your answers to listening and reading questions, the score reports and drills made from them, and the study plan you set up (test date and target level).
- Payment status: which pass you bought, the amount, currency and time of payment, the Stripe payment and checkout reference, and whether it was refunded. Card numbers and other payment details are entered on Stripe's page and handled by Stripe; we never receive or store them.
- Usage counts: how many AI scorings your account has used (for the free allowance, the daily limit and the refund rule). To stop abuse we count AI calls per network each day; we store that count under a one-way code made from your IP address, not the address itself.
We do not use advertising or analytics trackers.
Speaking recordings
- When you submit a speaking answer, the recording is sent to our server only to be scored. It goes to ElevenLabs to make a transcript and to Microsoft Azure for pronunciation and fluency measures, and is then discarded. We do not store your recordings on our servers. ElevenLabs may keep the transcript and request logs for a time under its own retention terms; our plan with ElevenLabs does not let us switch that off, and deleting your account here does not delete ElevenLabs' copy.
- We keep the transcript and the score report, so you can read them again in My reports.
- So that you can play your answer back, your browser keeps its own copy of the recording on your device (browser storage). It never leaves your device for that purpose; clearing your browser's site data removes it.
- Drill answers you record are handled the same way: transcribed, checked, and the recording discarded.
What we use it for
- Scoring your writing and speaking and writing your reports;
- building 5-minute drills from your report and your study plan up to your test day;
- showing your pass, receipts and refund eligibility, and enforcing the free allowance and daily limits;
- emails about your account: a reminder three days before your pass ends and one on the day. Every reminder has a link to stop them; that choice is kept with your account and deleted with it;
- answering you when you write to us.
We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with anyone for their own marketing.
Who processes it for us
We use these companies to run the service. Each one gets only what it needs for its job:
- Anthropic — AI scoring and feedback: your written answers and speaking transcripts.
- ElevenLabs — speech-to-text: your speaking recordings (it may keep the transcript for a time, see above).
- Microsoft Azure — pronunciation and fluency measures: your speaking recordings.
- Stripe — payments and refunds: your email address and the payment itself.
- Vercel — hosts the website and stores account data and reports.
- Resend — sends our emails and receives mail sent to our addresses: your email address and the message. Mail you send us is passed on to our support inbox; we do not store it on our servers.
- Google — sign-in. When the “Continue with Google” button loads, Google may set its own cookies under Google's privacy policy.
These providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States.
How long we keep it
Your account, reports, transcripts, drills and plan are kept until you delete your account. Payment records are also kept by Stripe as the law requires; deleting your account here does not delete Stripe's records.
Delete your account
Sign in and open My account, then choose Delete my account. We ask you to confirm once, then permanently delete your account record, your purchase history with us, every report and transcript, your drills, your study plan and your mock test answers. Any pass you have left ends; deleting is not a refund, and a payment page opened before the deletion can no longer give a pass. Sessions signed in on other devices stop working at once.
In the browser you delete from, we also remove this account's recordings and unfinished mock answers kept on the device. Other browsers keep their own copies until you clear that site's data there.
We keep only what stops the free allowance being claimed twice: the counts of scorings used (the free allowance and the daily limits) and the date the account was deleted, stored under a one-way code — not your name, email or any answer.
You can also email support@celpiptestai.com from the address you sign in with and we will do the same. You can ask us the same way for a copy of your data or to correct it.
Children
The site is meant for adults preparing for CELPIP-General. It is not directed at children under 16.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page; important changes will be shown on the site.
